hello sir,
i m doing my MBA final year project in SEO.

i havent started my analysis yet. i was asked to create a blog and analyse the page.
still i havent created the blog. but wanted to know the procedure for analysis.

ok ... well i wud suggest u to take up any website and analyze it ....

lets say u take up this website only ..... ie sharetermpapers.com

1) now firstly u wud have to analyze its Pagerank - which is zero .... that means either the website is a new website or the website is poorly designed and haven't been optimized.....

2) PageRank also tells u bout the visibility og the website ..... ie if the website is small and has less traffic .... its bound to have less score
where as a website like yahoo which is very large .... huge traffic ..... has higher PR (Page Rank )
yahoo.in has PR of 9/10
google has 10/10

3) Then we come to the seo score ..... its shown by a website whois.sc ....
eg see this link http://www.whois.sc/sharetermpapers.com

u'll see the website's SEO score there .....

but the algorithm used there is not the exact that is used bt the "search engines"
coz no-body knows wat the algorithm is ....

well the next steps include going deep into technical analysis ....

like
1) meta- keywords
2) Title - tags
3) Content analysis
4) Keyword analysis - based on search engines
5) backlinks
6) link exchange ...
7) Anchor tag ....
8 ) title text
9) naming of files and folders ....
10) directories submissions
11) and rss feeds and blogs

if u want i can tell u bout each one .... but one by one .... coz its really detailed ....
i wud suggest u to start analyzing ..... den one by one u can complete your project ....
