Looking for recommendations
« on: November 16, 2011, 12:02 PM »
Hey All.
I adore reading, but my problems is i read too quickly, so im constantly looking for new books and new authors. My obsession at the moment is Vampire/werewolf books. Patricia Briggs, Kelley Armstrong, Kerrelyn Sparks and Jeanine Frost are some of my favourites.
If anyone could recommend some along similar lines i would be hugely grateful.

Thanking you very muchly
:D

The better vampire series I've liked is by Richelle Mead - Vampire Academy

Wolves of Mercy Falls by Maggie Stiefvater is also a good read, though I admit I would only rave about the latter two installments.

these are all here, just use the search button on top to find them. :D

I love Chloe Neill, I would Marry that woman if she'd let me.  Long Live Merit, although I wanted her to get with Jonah :(

No way not Jonah he does not have enough spark.  I am a little sad what they are doing with Ethan - it just does not quite fit with the dying and then brought back to life thing.  It felt like it was not thought out enough to make it flow.  Anyway I think Ethan is awesome.  Oh well too bad you alread read this series.  But why not try Nicole Peeler Jane True series.  Also Whispers of Light is a really great too and it has a book that follows it.

Ethan is ok, he's a little sexy, but i agree about the whole coming back thing. Didnt feel quite right. I was proper shocked whrn he died though. And I totally didnt expect Mallory to turn bad. I was sat gobsmacked.
My guilty pleasure is Noah. I like him.

I was really disappointed about Mallory too.  I am going to be mad if she goes around controlling Ethan in the next book.  Who knows maybe Ethan won't be like he was before and Merit may turn to Jonah.

Have you tried House of Night series.? The story line is real good, though the Vampire Series was done and this is still ongoing it is worth the wait. Try it and im sure you'll love it too.
--I'm finished with my Vampire/Werewolf phase of reading and there are so much paranormal books published and coming that I can never get enough of thse. :]
