Dana Stabenow has several series.  The Kate Shugak series and the Liam Campbell series are set there.

The Jessie Arnold series by Sue Henry. The first book in the series is Murder on the Iditarod Trail.

I'll check her books.  I've read all the ones our library had but don't know if I read the whole series.
Thanks

Thanks, I'll look for it.
It's the Christmas season and reading about nice cold freezing weather will cheer my mood up.  ;D
This Florida weather puts a damper on the Christmas mood.  :'(

I don't really know what genre of books you're looking for, but maybe one of these will appeal?

Dance With the Devil by Sherrilyn Kenyon (it's a little way into the middle of a paranormal romance series, but I think it would stand alone rather well.)

A few books in Lara Adrian's Midnight, also paranormal romance, series take place in Alaska, but i don't currently remember which one(s)

In the contemporary romance genre, I would recommend the anthology Naughty or Nice, particularly Kenyon's contribution. While I don't  think the stories take place in Alaska, they definitely involve snow.

Anyway, I hope I've been at least somewhat helpful.

You'll never find them as e-books, but it's worth a trip to the library--Tom Bodett wrote several books about The End of the Road set in Alaska.  I read them several years ago; they're great.  Loved them.

'Cover Me', by Catherine Mann. It is set in Alaska, and the landscape plays a big part in the story, but I regret paying money for it. My advice is, read only if you can borrow it.

Thank you... I've read most of  Kenyons Books and Dance With The Devil is one of my favorites in her series.  I sure will check out the other ones.
