net gallery... how?

hello everyone... i recently joined d net gallery hoping to review books n dereby getting my hands on dem even b4 dey r released... but i've read d 'publisher approval section' http://www.netgalley.com/about/publisher-prefs/ n realized dat i dun belong to any of those preferred types: blogger/ media professional/ librarian, bookseller, or educator.... i'm juz a student who wanna read books in advance n dun mind reviewing them... so is there any chance my request wud b approved? n wht shud i fill in in d public bio? :s

You could create a book blog, hon ;) Since one of the criteria is that you're a blogger :)

It says on the site that Abingdon Press asks:

If you are a blogger:
Please provide link to your site
Blog posts should be current and active
Please provide the number of unique monthly visitors to your site
Include Twitter name and follower count and Facebook page link and likes


The publishers' exigences might be a bit different of the others, but I guess, that's just about it :)
