Responsibilities

    * Preparation of accounts on a quarterly basis both Indian GAAP and US GAAP and audit thereof
    * SOX compliance for closing the books
    * Implementation of IFRS
    * Implementation of system solution for consolidation (Hyperion or SAP).
    * Integration of this function at Subsidiaries and overview of Subsidiaries .
    * Filing of Tax Return and appearing before the tax authorities.
    * Preparation of appeals
    * Tax compliance of subsidiary companies.
    * Tax audit and transfer pricing
    * Review of all the transactions on an ongoing basis from the point of view of tax considerations.
    * Review the financial and business arrangements for the company and subsidiary companies for lowering the incidence of taxes.
    * Review the tax compliance viz. TDS at all locations including subsidiary companies.
    * Keep updated information on the latest tribunals/high court circulars and advise regarding the impact on the Company.

Requirements

    * Candidate must possess at least a Master in Business Adminst , Chartered Accountancy or Institute of Cost Accountancy(ICWA).
    * At 3 years of work experience in the related field is required for this position.
    * Desirable Attirbutes:
    * Exposure to US GAAP or IFRS will be desirable.
    * Expert level of knowledge of the Indian Accounting Standards. The person should have a working knowledge of US Accounting or IFRS. He should have interest in the field of accounting and control, reporting practices and research /interpretational issues
    * Working knowledge of the costing, taxation and treasury.
    * Working knowledge of DTA and international taxation
